Universal’s newly-revealed teaser explores how the gameplay translates to the screen, starring Josh Hutcherson as the targeted security guard. In them, players become security guards who must fight for survival amongst legions of violent animatronic characters inside Freddy Fazbear’s spooky pizzeria, working with security cameras, lights and doors in their favor. Thanks to initial popularity, the game and its many predecessors are now available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The Blumhouse horror film is based on the gaming franchise created by Scott Cawthon, which first began in 2014 on PC.
